Richmond Market Update

I wanted to take a minute to give you a brief check in on what's going on with the Richmond real estate market for the remainder of spring and summer coming up!

The Richmond market is really strong right now. It is fueled by a lot of reasons, but mainly we don't have any inventory. So if you want to move and sell your house, now is a GREAT time. Finding a house on the other hand might be a little challenging. But this is causing value in Richmond to be stronger than ever before and square foot prices are going up. And of course it varies depending on the neighborhood, but it seems to be universally climbing across the board.  

In the Fan District, we've been seeing houses in the $400 to high $400 per square foot prices. But just recently, we have seen some houses get pushed over $500 per square foot. 

So if you are wondering how the current real estate market is affecting your own home value, please give me a call -- I would be glad to discuss it with you. I am also happy to do an equity review for you so that you can understand exactly where your equity is right now.
